Renegade Pre Cask Pearls Rum 700ml ABV 50%

The Renegade rum distillery: a modern marvel precisely designed to exalt the individuality of the terroirs, the purity of prolonged fermentation, and a thoughtful and rigorous distillation.

Pearls Terroir: On the coastal plain, a stone’s throw south of the distillery, lies an intriguing terroir between mangrove and aquatic meadow, with a distinctive bench of iron-rich volcanic laterite at its center. The cane grows vigorously on this water-retaining soil, derived from Woburn & Perseverance clays. For this rum, we have harvested the elegant variety that we call “Yellow Lady” from the “grapefruit” estate, which stands on the land known as Flats.

With a slight elevation from the coast, the air passing through Pearls is cool. This, in conjunction with a marsh touching the base of the farm, allows a rich maintenance of the soil retained in water. Amidst towering palm trees, Pearls was planted with the varieties Yellow Lady and Lacolome Red.
