Plantation Original Dark Rum is a versatile dark rum from Maison Ferrand. Master Distiller Alexandre Gabriel uses a Plantation proprietary bonificateur –a very old pot still rum with a high amount of esters –to shape its flavor profile. Original Dark is a Barbados 3 year rum enhanced by this unique bonificateur that has been aged for 15-20 years. Medium to full body, with qualities of caramel, pecan and tropical fruit, this rum a premium house pour for tiki cocktails.
