Very pleasantly minty, honeyed or even lemony, the aromatic and taste palette of this Glenlossie takes us in an instant to the heart of Speyside. To this must be added absolutely delicious honeyed nuances as well as an originality of tone which results in the presence of unusual perfumes and flavors. The notes of arugula leaves and balsamic vinegar which take the ascendant at the end of the mouth bear witness to this.

Lively, heady. Lemon, almond, mint, incense.

TASTING NOTE
Color: bright gold.
Nose: rich, heady. On the first nose, very pretty notes of straw, green almond and candied lemons accompany honey (acacia) and fruity (pear, apple, pineapple) flavors. As a highlight, green barley, chlorophyll and green liquorice refresh the ambient atmosphere. Over time, a superb note of vetiver hovers above the aromatic palette.
Palate: lively, sharp. Oscillating between freshly cut grass and almond milk, the attack on the palate is in line with the first nose. In the mid-palate, aromatic plants (sage, verbena, chamomile) irremediably intensify the vegetal character of the taste palette. In the aftertaste, arugula leaves embellished with balsamic vinegar take over the entire palate.
Overall: long, balanced. Equally green, the start of the finish also brings juicy pears and squeezed lemons to the fore. Quickly, however, dill and a very nice malty bitterness reconnect with the plant terroir of choice of this beautiful Glenlossie. In retro-olfaction, green licorice, incense and juniper berries constitute a taste trio full of verve. The empty glass is minty, heady (iris concrete) and medicinal (balm).
